Salaküla is a village ( Estonian küla ) in Ida-Viru County ( East Wierland ) in northeast Estonia . Since October 2013 it has been in the rural community of Lüganuse ( Lüganuse vald ). Until its formation it was in the rural community of Maidla ( Maidla vald ).

The village has 27 inhabitants (as of 2000). It is located southwest of the city center of Kiviõli .
