Oandu is a village ( Estonian küla ) in Ida-Viru County ( East Wierland ) in northeast Estonia . Since October 2013 it has been in the rural community of Lüganuse ( Lüganuse vald ). Until its formation it was in the rural community of Maidla ( Maidla vald ).

Description and history

The village has 24 inhabitants (as of 2000).

For nature lovers, the place is best known for its park with one of the oldest cultivated trees in Estonia. The pine trees in Oandu are over 140 years old.
