Voorepera is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lüganuse ( Luganuse vald ). It is located in Ida-Viru County ( East Wierland ) in northeast Estonia .

The street village has 67 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It is located on the highway between the Estonian capital Tallinn and the Russian metropolis Saint Petersburg . The Voorepera bog ( Voorepera raba ) is located near the village .

Personalities

The most famous son of the place was the Estonian conductor and choir director Arno Kallikorm (1915-1992). A plaque commemorates him on the house where he was born.
