Erik Årman

Erik Årman (born July 23, 1970 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish opera singer in ( tenor ).

Life

Årman is the son of the well-known Swedish television journalist Pia Brandelius. He studied singing with Sebastian Vittucci at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and opera at the Vienna Conservatory . His repertoire includes over 90 mostly smaller roles and ranges from the baroque to the modern. In recent years he was u. a. at the Salzburger Landestheater , the Neue Oper Wien , the Ulmer Theater , the Theater Lübeck , the KlangBogen Wien , the Komische Oper Berlin , the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich, the Bregenz Festival , the Bavarian State Opera Munich , the Gothenburg Opera and engaged at the Théâtre du Capitol Toulouse . Long-term collaboration connects the singer with the Theater an der Wien .
