Erik André Huseklepp (born September 5, 1984 in Bærum ) is a Norwegian football player who currently plays for the Norwegian first division club Brann Bergen .
Career
After Erik Huseklepp moved from the Bergen district club Fyllingen to Brann Bergen in the summer of 2005 , his style of play quickly made him a cult player despite only a few short appearances. However, he never got over the title talent until he became one of the most important players of the team in the 2009 season with 15 goals and twelve assists in 30 games and also made six appearances in Norway's national team, in which he scored one goal.
Since January 2011 Huseklepp has been under contract with the Italian club AS Bari and has become an integral part of Norway's national team. With the Apulians , however , he was relegated from Serie A in 2010/11 .
On August 16, 2011, he signed a three-year contract with English second division club Portsmouth FC . Just four days later he made his debut in the 2011/12 Football League Championship in the away game at Bristol City . From February 23 to May 31, 2012, he was loaned to league rivals Birmingham City .
On July 31, 2012 he returned to his hometown club Brann Bergen .
