Erik Sætter-Lassen (born July 15, 1892 in Gilleleje , † December 24, 1966 in Helleruplund Sogn ) was a Danish sports shooter .

successes

Erik Sætter-Lassen took part in the Olympic Games four times . With the army rifle he took fourth place in the standing position in the individual competition at the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 , but did not finish the competition in the prone position. In the team competition, he was together with Niels Larsen , Anders Peter Nielsen , Lars Jørgen Madsen and Anders Petersen before the US and Swedish teams Olympic champion . In the standing position with the small bore rifle, he just missed another medal win in the team competition in fourth place. In 1924 in Paris he took fourth place in the individual with the small bore in the prone position, which was his best result in three competitions. In 1936 in Berlin and 1948 in London he did not get any top placements.

Sætter-Lassen won four medals at world championships . His first was also his greatest World Cup success when he became world champion in the individual competition in Milan in 1922 with the army rifle in the prone position. In the three-position battle with the free rifle, he won bronze with the team in St. Gallen both in 1922 and again in 1925 . In 1927 he secured the runner- up in the team competition with the Free Pistol in Rome .
