Erika Menne

Erika Menne , b. Mai-Rodegg (born April 14, 1908 in Berlin ; † February 6, 1991 ) was a Hessian politician ( FDP ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Erika Menne was the daughter of the well-known actor and writer Gustav Mai-Rodegg (1885-1945) and the Annalize born Söchtig (1878-1918).

After attending the Lyceum, Erika Menne trained in agriculture and worked for ten years as a poultry farmer, poultry breeding consultant, assistant at the Halle (Saale) -Cröllwitz teaching and research institute and as a specialist writer. Since 1933 she worked for the Chamber of Agriculture in Kassel and worked in the field of agricultural advice in Korbach.

From December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1950 she was a member of the Hessian Landtag ( constituency VII ), and in 1949 a member of the 1st Federal Assembly . She was the founder and from 1946 to 1950 first chairwoman of the women's committee of the LDP Groß-Hessen. In 1950 Grete Kletke became her successor.

Erika Menne had been married to the farmer from Wethen Walter Menne since 1938.
