Grete Kletke

Margarete "Grete" Kletke , née Waßmann (born June 6, 1892 in Eschwege , † December 24, 1987 in Aachen ), was a Hessian politician ( FDP ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After finishing high school, Grete Kletke attended business school and worked at the Eschwege welfare and employment office. She later attended the Politics College and became a career advisor in Jena . After that she worked as a housewife.

politics

Grete Kletke was a member of the Hessian state parliament from December 1, 1950 to November 30, 1962 and was vice-president there from December 11, 1958 to December 1, 1962. In 1954 she was a member of the 2nd Federal Assembly . The Margarete-Kletke-Straße in Eschwege is named after Grete Kletke. In 1950 she succeeded Erika Menne as chairwoman of the women's committee of the FDP Hessen.
