Erna Klemm , née Erna Kröner, (born August 10, 1892 in Stuttgart ; † November 20, 1978 there ) was a German publisher's daughter and wife as well as a poet .

Erna Kröner was the daughter of the publisher Alfred Kröner . In 1912 she married Wilhelm Klemm (1881–1961), who in 1921 became a managing partner of Alfred Kröner Verlag . The marriage resulted in four sons, including the future chemist Alfred Klemm (1913–2013) and the future publisher Arno Klemm (* 1914), two sons died in World War II . The marriage ended in divorce in 1947.

Erna Klemm lived with her husband in Leipzig , where she was friends with Franz Pfemfert and his wife. Between 1914 and 1916 she published poems in the journal “ Die Aktion ” published by Pfemfert . Pfemfert and his magazine, in which her husband also published poetry, received financial support from her. In 1918 she founded the "Association for New Art" with her sister-in-law Annemarie Jacob in Leipzig. In the 1920s she lived in Davos , after the Second World War in Stuttgart.
