The Ernst Ludwig School ( ELS for short ) is a high school in Bad Nauheim . The school is an all-day school . It offers a bilingual and a musical branch .
history
It was founded in 1905 as a high school for citizens and was named Ernst-Ludwig-Schule in 1909 after the then Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hessen-Darmstadt . In 1914 the school was converted into a Grand Ducal Realschule . In 1921 it finally became an upper secondary school , later the grammar school. Since 1986 the school has been located in its new building on Solgraben . The school has been an all-day school since 2007/2008.

Musicals and an opera were performed at the school:

Competitions
Successes have also been achieved in state and national competitions, for example in the mathematics competition of the state of Hesse in the youth. 8 (three state winners, one of which was first), the mathematics competition 11 (one state winner), the mathematics Olympiad (a third place and recognition in the national round) or the national mathematics competition (twice first price in the second round ).
