Ernst Eduard Seiler

Ernst Eduard Seiler (born July 19, 1810 in Spitzkunnersdorf , Saxony , † August 22, 1875 in Leipzig ) was a German classical philologist .

He attended the grammar school in Zittau from 1820 to 1829 . Then he was a private scholar in Leipzig . Seiler was the author or co-author of dictionaries of the Greek language and critical editions of Longos and Alkiphron .
