Ernst Friedrich von Bandemer

Ernst Friedrich von Bandemer (baptized July 14, 1744 in Prebendow ; † November 12, 1817 in Insterburg ) was a Prussian major general .

Life

Ernst Friedrich was the son of the Lord on Prebendow Jakob Ludwig von Bandemer (* April 10, 1709; † April 18, 1747) and his wife Barbara Klarina, born von Kameke .

Military career

In 1759 Bandemer became a private corporal in the “von Platen” dragoon regiment of the Prussian army . During the Seven Years' War he took part in the battles at Kay , Kunersdorf and Reichenbach . On March 22, 1761 he became an ensign . After Bandemer had already been promoted to Second Lieutenant on July 2, 1766 , he rose to Prime Lieutenant on September 6, 1777 . He then took part in the campaign of 1778/79 . By June 6, 1799 he was promoted to colonel . On October 2, 1800, Bandemer retired from military service and was given the pension entitlement of a major general.

family

Bandemer married Charlotte Draugel on February 5, 1815 in Insterburg. The couple had the following children:

  • Juliane Friederike (born July 13, 1797 - † October 7, 1798)
  • Friedrich Wilhelm (born May 9, 1801)
  • Berta Amalie (born August 15, 1803) ⚭ 1832 Hermann von Frankenberg, lieutenant in the Dragoon Regiment No. 1
