Ernst Hermann Himmler
Ernst Hermann Himmler (* 23. December 1905 in Munich , † 2. May 1945 ) was a German Nazi - functionary , engineering and younger brother of the realm leader SS Heinrich Himmler .
Life
Ernst Himmler was the third son of the principal studies director Joseph Gebhard Himmler (born May 17, 1865 in Lindau (Lake Constance) ; † October 29, 1936 in Munich ) and of Anna Maria, née. Heyder (born January 16, 1866 in Bregenz , † September 10, 1941 in Munich). His siblings were Heinrich Himmler (1900–1945) and Gebhard Ludwig Himmler (1898–1982).
Ernst Himmler joined the NSDAP on November 1, 1931 ( membership number 676.777) and the SS on June 1, 1933 (membership number 132.099). He fell on May 2, 1945 as a member of the Volkssturm .
He was the grandfather of Katrin Himmler .
