Ernst Schlott

Ernst Schlott (born December 17, 1904 , † after 1959) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Schlott played in various German-speaking theaters such as the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna.

Since the 1930s he has also taken on roles in feature film productions such as Robert Wohlmuth's Night of Temptation , Josef von Báky's Intermezzo and Erich Engels The Golden Spider . His last film appearance was as “Dr. Sinsberg ”alongside Hansjörg Felmy in Kurt Hoffmann's satirical comedy Wir Wunderkinder based on Hugo Hartung .

After the Second World War, Schlott was given a permanent position as a speaker at Bayerischer Rundfunk. He then took part in numerous radio productions for the station. He also worked extensively as a voice actor and lent his voice, for example, to Joseph Cotten in The House of Lady Alquist , Peter Cushing in The Beast with the Scalpel , Cedric Hardwicke in The Hunchback of Notre Dame , Oscar Levant in Humoresque and Leopoldo Trieste in Vitelloni .
