Ernst Schott

Ernst Max Schott (born November 2, 1877 in Leutkirch ; † April 1, 1961 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was a member of the state constituent assembly in Württemberg (1919) and the Württemberg state parliament (1920–1928, 1932–1933).

Life

The son of a top official's and the Governing Council , studied Schott after attending high school in Stuttgart law in Tübingen and Berlin . During his studies in 1897 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . He was promoted to Dr. iur. obtained his doctorate and worked as a lawyer and notary from 1904 .

He was a member of the conservatives and from the end of 1918 of the Württemberg Citizens' Party / DNVP . In 1919 he was a member of the state constitutional assembly and from 1920 to 1928 and from 1932 to 1933 of the Württemberg state parliament. From 1931 to 1934 he was a member of the municipal council in Stuttgart. From 1928 to 1932 he was a member of the Württemberg State Court and until 1945 President of the Chamber of Notaries and Deputy President of the Stuttgart Bar .
