Lisa Frey (born February 16, 1995 in Aarau ) is a Swiss national handball player who is under contract with the German club Frisch Auf Göppingen .

Career

Lisa Frey started at the age of eight at the Swiss club TSV Frick , where she went through the entire junior department from U9 to U15 Inter and celebrated the Aargau Cup victory with FU15 Inter in 2007.

In 2007 she moved to HV Olten , played for three years at the highest junior level in Switzerland and in 2010 took first place in the league's top scorers. During this time, she also played in the Aargau regional team, where she became Swiss champion in 2008.

In 2009 she was allowed to complete her first training sessions at TV Zofingen in the top Swiss league and in 2010 moved to the women's team at TV Zofingen. In 2012 she also supported the female junior team FU19 Inter, with whom she won the Swiss championship title in 2012 under the name Aargau West and contributed 16 goals in the final.

In 2012, the backcourt player moved to Spono Nottwil , with whom she won the Swiss Cup for the first time in 2013 and was voted Newcomer of the Year at the Swiss Handball Awards .

She ended the 2015/16 season as the top scorer in the league and as the Swiss champion, with 10 goals in the final game against LC Brühl making a significant contribution to winning the title.

In 2018 Lisa Frey won the double with Spono and moved to the Danish second division Vendsyssel Håndbold in the summer . After Frey rose to the highest Danish league with Vendsyssel Håndbold in 2020, she moved to the German Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen .

In the national team she also went through all stations from U16 to U20 juniors, has been part of the Swiss national team since 2012 and has since scored 131 goals in 61 games.

Lisa Frey (backcourt player), along with her older sisters Noëlle ( circle runner ) and Rahel ( goalkeeper ), were all three siblings in the Swiss national team in March 2013 .
