Michaela Hrbková (born July 14, 1987 in Olomouc ) is a Czech handball player who is under contract with the Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen .

Career

Michaela Hrbková initially played in her hometown for DHK Zora Olmütz, for whom she played in the top Czech league and in the European Cup. From 2012 to 2014 she was under contract with the Czech first division club DHK Sokol Poruba. Then the left-hander joined the Croatian club ŽRK Lokomotiva Zagreb. When Lokomotiva Zagreb got into financial difficulties, she moved to the German Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen in January 2015. In July of the same year she moved to the Hungarian first division side Siófok KC . Hrbková returned to Göppingen in February 2016. With 210 goals she won the top scorer's crown in the Bundesliga in the 2016/17 season.

Michaela Hrbková has played 149 international matches for the Czech national team so far , scoring 396 goals. With the Czech Republic, she took part in the 2013 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship .
