Šárka Marčíková

Šárka Marčíková (born March 12, 1992 in Zlín ) is a Czech handball player who belongs to the squad of the Czech national team.

Career

Šárka Marčíková played until 2011 in her birthplace at HC Zlín. The backcourt player then played for DHC Sokol Poruba . After Marčíková played for the Polish first division club SPR Pogoń Szczecin in the 2017/18 season, she joined the German Bundesliga club TV Nellingen . In the summer of 2019 she moved to the German second division club SG H2Ku Herrenberg . Since summer 2020, she has been playing for the Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen .

Marčíková ran on for the Czech youth and junior national team. With these teams she took part in the U-17 European Championship in 2009 and in the U-20 World Championship in 2012 . On September 13, 2012 she made her debut for the Czech national team. She participated in the 2016 European Championship , the 2017 World Championship and the 2018 European Championship .
