Ernst Weymar

Ernst Weymar (born May 18, 1920 in Waldlaubersheim ; † June 1, 1986 ) was a German historian and history teacher at the Osnabrück University of Education .

Life

As early as 1970 he distinguished the verifiable factual judgment from the moral value judgment in history lessons , which Karl-Ernst Jeismann followed . Weymar's division of the dimensions of historical studies into historical research - history theory - didactics of history is fundamental .
