Waldlaubersheim is a municipality in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Langenlonsheim-Stromberg community .
geography
The place is on the north-eastern plateau of the Hunsrück near the Nahe . The Hahnenbach , which flows into the Guldenbach and flows with it into the Nahe, flows through the village . The source of the Hahnenbach is above Waldalgesheim . In the north is the Waldalgesheim district of Genheim , in the east Rümmelsheim , in the south Windesheim and to the west is Schweppenhausen . Around 2 km² are forested, around 4.3 km² are agricultural land (as of 2013).
The residential areas Ackvas-Mühle, Lindenhof, Sonnenhof and Weincastell also belong to Waldlaubersheim .
history
Waldlaubersheim was first mentioned in the year 767 in the Lorsch Codex . During the time of the tribal duchies, the place belonged to the Duchy of Franconia and there to the Nahegau . Various families of counts were then masters of the place, such as those of Bolanden (list of fiefdoms around 1190). Martinskirche was also built as a fortified church around 1190 . From 1615/1625 to 1719 the Degenfelder was inherited until 1785, then that of Nassau-Weilburg .
In 1575 65 sites or smoke were home SAT counted in 1639 56 families residing in the village.
Due to the occupation of the area on the left bank of the Rhine (1794) in the First Coalition War and the occupation of the region triggered by the Peace of Campo Formio (1797) , Waldlaubersheim belonged to the French Republic from 1798 and became the canton of Stromberg and the arrondissement of Simmern in the Rhine-Moselle department assumed. After the end of French rule in the area on the left bank of the Rhine (1814), the region was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna (1815) . Under the Prussian administration the community Waldlaubersheim to belong mayoralty Windesheim in the newly built district Kreuznach the administrative district of Koblenz , which from 1822 to the Rhine province belonged. In 1817 there were 562 residents in Waldlaubersheim, the "Akvamühle" (today Ackvas-Mühle) belonged to the community, 535 of the residents belonged to the Lutheran denomination , 22 to the Jewish faith.
After the Second World War , Waldlaubersheim became part of the then newly formed state of Rhineland-Palatinate within the French occupation zone .

Local mayor is Torsten Strauss (WGS). In the local elections on May 26, 2019, he was elected with a share of 78.73% of the vote and is the successor to Volker Müller-Späth (WGS), who was no longer running for office.

The coat of arms refers to former rulers. The heart shield with golden Glevenrad reminds of the Lords of Schönenburg , the silver wheel of the Knights of Bolanden .
Economy and Infrastructure
Waldlaubersheim part of the wine field Nahetal in the Nahe region . About 74% of the wine grown are white grape varieties (as of 2010). In 1979 25 farms were still active, the area under vines has since doubled from 53 hectares to 106 hectares. Currently (05/2016) four wineries are still active.
The A 61 runs to the southwest . The industrial park south of the A 61 (approx. 85 hectares) is of economic importance and around 800 jobs and apprenticeships were created by around 25 companies by February 2018. In addition to logistics companies, various craft businesses, a tank and rest stop, a large bakery, a supplier for the aircraft industry and Wilbert TowerCranes, one of Germany's largest manufacturers of tower cranes, have settled here. Wilbert has been part of the Chinese Zoomlion group since 2018 . The first TESLA charging station for motor vehicles in Rhineland-Palatinate went into operation on March 26, 2015 at the Waldlaubersheim motorway fueling and rest area .
In summer 2020 the commercial area will be expanded to the south by extending the street "Am Lohrgraben". The settlement of new businesses has already been announced, including system catering .
