geography

Pleitersheim is located about seven kilometers east of the center of the city of Bad Kreuznach on a sloping terrain slightly to the southeast as far as the Karlebach , a left tributary of the Appelbach . In terms of its natural surroundings , the almost entirely unwooded municipal area can be assigned to the agriculturally intensively used Wöllstein hill country .

Pleitersheim borders (clockwise) on the local communities Pfaffen-Schwabenheim , Badenheim (Mainz-Bingen district), Wöllstein (Alzey-Worms district), Volxheim and the city of Bad Kreuznach.
