Sebastian Schwarz (born October 2, 1985 in Freudenstadt ) is a German national volleyball player .
Career
Sebastian Schwarz played for many years in the German Bundesliga and was German champion and DVV cup winner several times with VfB Friedrichshafen . He also won two cups with Generali Haching . In 2010 he went to Italy, where he first played for Umbria Volley . After a season at Pallavolo Padua , Black returned to Umbria in 2012 and played for Sir Safety Perugia . In 2013 he came back to Generali Haching after three years in Italy. After Haching left the Bundesliga in 2014, Schwarz moved to the Polish first division club Trefl Gdańsk , with whom he won the Polish Cup in 2015. In 2016, Schwarz went to Russia to VK Kusbass Kemerowo and in 2017 back to Poland to Jastrzębski Węgiel . In the summer of 2017 he returned to the Bundesliga for the United Volleys Rhein-Main . Schwarz ended his professional career in 2019.
Since 2005, Schwarz has also played in the German national team . Under national coach Raúl Lozano , he became a regular on the outside position from 2009. At the Olympic Games in London 2012 he reached fifth place. In 2013 he reached sixth place with the national team at the European Championships . At the 2014 World Cup in Poland, he won the bronze medal with the team.
