history
Until 2015, the United Volleys played under the name of the parent club TG 1862 Rüsselsheim mainly in the second and for two seasons also in the first Bundesliga. After the rise, the United Volleys were created, which took over the playing rights from Rüsselsheim and chose Frankfurt as the new venue.
In their first Bundesliga season in 2015/16, the team reached the semi-finals of the play-offs for the German championship straight away and won the bronze medal. In the DVV-Pokal 2015/16 she also made it to the semi-finals and was subject to the Berlin Recycling Volleys . As top scorer, captain Christian Dünnes was named MVP of the Bundesliga season. In addition, three players, Jan Zimmermann , Moritz Reichert and Tobias Krick , have been appointed to the German national team.
In the 2016/17 season, the United Volleys made it to the playoff semi-finals of the Bundesliga and were defeated by the eventual champions Berlin Recycling Volleys. Against the same opponent they were eliminated in the round of 16 of the DVV Cup . In the CEV Cup , the team also reached the semi-finals and lost there against the eventual title holder Tours Volley-Ball . On September 23, 2017, the United Volleys were named Hessen's Team of the Year 2017. In the 2017/18 season they again had to admit defeat to the Berliners in the playoff semifinals . In the DVV Cup they lost the semifinals against VfB Friedrichshafen .
