Moritz Reichert (born March 15, 1995 in Lebach ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career hall
Reichert began playing volleyball in his home country in 2003 at TV Lebach . In 2008 he switched to TV Bliesen with the youth game rights and started in 2009 in the active area for TV Bliesen. In 2011 he went to the volleyball boarding school in Frankfurt , with which he played in the second Bundesliga . A first major national success came in 2011 when Reichert won the bronze medal at the German championships with the U18 team of TV Bliesen. He was also the captain of his youth team for TV Bliesen and the youth national team. In September 2013 he made his first appearance in the senior national team . In 2014, Reichert won the bronze medal at the German Championships in Saarbrücken with the U20s of TV Bliesen and in the summer switched to Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen , with whom he achieved the national double of championship and DVV cup victory in 2015 . Then Reichert played for two years at the newly promoted Bundesliga United Volleys Rhein-Main . In the 2017/18 season Reichert played volleyball for the French club Tours , where he became champion. Then he returned to the Bundesliga for the German champions Berlin Recycling Volleys . In the 2018/19 season he made it to the cup semi-finals with the team and won the German championship for the second time . In December 2019 Reichert was voted Germany's volleyball player of the year .
Career Beach
Reichert started playing beach volleyball in 2009. With Bayern Clemens Wickler , he was U19 world champion in Porto as well as German U20 champion in Marl and German U19 champion in Kiel .
