Pierre Pujol (born July 13, 1984 in Bordeaux ) is a French national volleyball player .

Career

Pujol began his career in youth at Bordeaux. In 2002 he became the best player in the European Junior Championship. The following season he played for CNVB Montpellier before moving to Stade Poitevin . In 2007, the player went to the Italian first division club Sisley Treviso . In 2008 he returned to France and played volleyball at AS Cannes for two years . He then returned to Treviso in 2010/11 and won the CEV Cup with the club . He then played one season in the Polish league with Fart Kielce . In 2012 he returned to Cannes. In 2015, Pujol won the title with the French national team in the final against Slovenia at the European Championships in Bulgaria and Italy . In 2016 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro , where France were eliminated in the preliminary round. In 2017 he was initially committed to the Italian club Cucine Lube Civitanova, where he was not used due to an injury. In November he therefore moved to the German champion Berlin Recycling Volleys . In 2018 he became German champion with the defending champion. In the 2018/19 season he played for the French club GFC Ajaccio . In 2019 he returned to the Berlin Recycling Volleys.
