Anton Brehme (born August 10, 1999 in Leipzig ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Brehme, whose twin brother Louis also plays volleyball, started in his youth at home SV Reudnitz . In 2016 he moved to VC Olympia Berlin , with whom he played in the first and second Bundesliga. At the same time, Brehme played for the youth of the LE Volleys and was German U20 runner-up here in 2018. In the 2018/19 season, the middle blocker also had a second game right for the Berlin Recycling Volleys , but was only used once here. In the 2019/20 season, Brehme played for Bundesliga club SVG Lüneburg and then moved back to Berlin.

Brehme also played in the national junior team and finished fifth at the U20 European Championships in Belgium and the Netherlands in 2018 . Since 2017 he has also had several appearances in the senior national team .
