Ernst von Friesen

Ernst Freiherr von Friesen (born February 9, 1800 in Dresden , † June 19, 1869 in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe ) was a royal Prussian district administrator .

Life

He came from the noble von Friesen family , owners of the Rammelburg office . His father was Johann Georg Friedrich Freiherr von Friesen and his older brother Friedrich Freiherr von Friesen . When he was three years old, his mother (1764–1803), née Countess Juliane Caroline von der Schulenburg , a daughter of Gebhard Werner von der Schulenburg, died .

After the death of August von Münchhausen in 1841, he was his successor as district administrator of the Mansfeld mountain district of the administrative district of Merseburg in the province of Saxony . It is not known how long he held this office, at the latest in 1850 Anton Ferdinand von Krosigk was appointed provisionally as the new district administrator.
