Ernst von der Recke (administrative officer)

Ernst Karl Eberhard Freiherr von der Reck , also von der Recke , (born March 31, 1858 in Bielefeld , † March 3, 1939 in Kassel ) was a German administrative officer.

origin

His parents were the Prussian captain Ernst von der Recke (* May 2, 1826; † April 28, 1865) and his wife Anna von Münchhausen (* May 8, 1829; † September 11, 1879).

Life

Ernst studied law at the University of Strasbourg . In 1880 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Strasbourg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1888 to 1889 he completed the government traineeship with the government in Opole . From 1896 to 1917 he was district administrator for the Eckernförde district . He then lived as a district administrator a. D. in Harleshausen near Kassel .

On October 6, 1891, he married Adelaide von Baudissin , the daughter of the District President Traugott von Baudissin .
