Ernsthausen is a district of the large community Rauschenberg in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district in Hesse .
The place is located in the valley of the Wohra on the eastern edge of the castle forest northeast of Rauschenberg. From 1821 to 1932 he belonged to what was then the Kirchhain district .
