Eros Genc Grezda (born April 15, 1995 in Gjakova , BR Yugoslavia ) is an Albanian football player who is under contract with NK Osijek .

Career

Eros Grezda first grew up in Pristina . In his youth he later played in Macedonia, Croatia, Austria and Slovenia. In Slovenia, he played for the first time as a professional from 2013 at the second division club NK Aluminij in Kidričevo . In 2015 he was briefly under contract with DNŠ Zavrč . Then Grezda moved to Croatia where he played for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and NK Osijek . In August 2018, Grezda signed a four-year contract with the Glasgow Rangers from the Scottish Premiership . Osijek had previously been eliminated by Rangers in the European Cup, where Grezda was able to convince Rangers coach Steven Gerrard . In the 2018/19 season he played 13 league games and scored two goals. As of April 2019, he did not come to any further use for the Rangers. He returned to NK Osijek in January 2020.

National team

Grezda, who was born in Serbia and Montenegro and is of Kosovar origin , has played for Albania since 2014 . First he played in the U21 from 2014 to 2016 . He made his senior team debut against Italy on March 24, 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Odise Roshi in the 2-0 loss in the World Cup qualifier .
