The Ertholm in front of the port entrance in Gudhjem
The Ertholm was built in 1967 under construction number 1252 at the Husum shipyard and delivered to Rederi Østlandet A / S in Svanke on April 26th of that year and used between the Bornholm ports of Gudhjem and Allinge and the island of Christiansø northeast of Bornholm, initially in Summer partly also for trips between Allinge and Simrishamn in Sweden .
The ship has been owned by Christiansøfarten Aps in Gudhjem since 2005. It continues to be used on the route between Bornholm and Christiansø.
Technical specifications
The ship was originally of two eight-cylinder - diesel engines of the manufacturer MWM with a capacity of each 235 kW driven. These were replaced in 1982 by two Caterpillar engines with an output of 240 kW each.
