Ervin Rustemagić

Ervin Rustemagić (* 1952 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian comic publisher and rights exploiter .

Ervin Rustemagić founded the comic publisher and rights exploitation Strip Art Features in Sarajevo in 1972 . In 1992 Rustemagić and his family came under constant Serbian fire during the siege of Sarajevo during the Bosnian War , and the building of his publishing house was destroyed. The family was able to flee to Croatia in 1993 . Those experiences were retold in 1996 in the graphic novel Fax from Sarajevo by Joe Kubert . The publishing house could continue to operate in Slovenia .

In 1997, Rustemagić and Scott Mitchell Rosenberg founded Platinum Studios in Los Angeles . Here the rights of Dylan Dog , Cowboys & Aliens and Jeremiah are licensed.

In 2015 he founded an offshoot of the Erko publishing house for the German comic market , which was already active in the Netherlands and France.
