Ervin Skela (born November 17, 1976 in Vlora , Albania ) is a former Albanian - Italian football player .

career

society

After the stations at KS Flamurtari Vlora and SK Tirana , Skela moved to 1. FC Union Berlin in the German regional league in 1995 . He played there until 1997 and then moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue, which was also third-class at the time .

From 1999 he played for Chemnitzer FC in the 2nd Bundesliga , for which he scored eleven times in 50 games by the end of 2000. During this time he also made his debut in the Albanian national team . He spent the second half of the 2000/01 season at SV Waldhof Mannheim , and at the beginning of the 2001/02 season he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt .

With the Frankfurt team, where he was the top scorer with ten goals in the 2002/03 season, he rose to the 1st Bundesliga in 2003 . In 2003/04 he was again the internal top scorer with eight goals, but could not prevent his immediate relegation.

He then moved to Arminia Bielefeld and again a year later, in 2005, to 1. FC Kaiserslautern . After relegation from the first division in 2006, he left the Lautrer and has since played for the Italian first division Ascoli Calcio . In January 2007 Skela signed a long-term contract (until 2009) with the Bundesliga club Energie Cottbus . After the contract period he moved to the second division TuS Koblenz in October 2009 . There he could not prevent the club's relegation and did not receive a new contract for the 2010/11 season.

In January 2011, the contractless Skela was signed by Germania Windeck . He remained without use for Windeck and moved to Poland to Arka Gdynia in March 2011 , for which he made his debut on March 11, 2011 when he was substituted on in the league game against Górnik Zabrze in added time for Tadas Labukas . This mission was followed by a total of four more before Skela's contract expired after the season and was not renewed. In the summer of 2011 he ended his active playing career.

On January 29, 2014, he announced his comeback and signed a player license, without a fixed salary, with the Hessian regional top division club FC Hanau 93 . With this he rose as a master in the group league and Skela contributed with 18 goals this season. He then ended his active career after the 2018/19 season.

In the Albanian national team Skela was a regular player for eleven years and played a total of 75 international matches, scoring 13 goals. In 2008 he was voted “Player of the Year” in Albania.
