Erwan Käser (born June 8, 1992 ) is a Swiss cross-country skier .

Career

Käser achieved his first top 10 result in the cross-country alpine cup in January 2013 with ninth place over 10 km freestyle in Oberwiesenthal and made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in February 2013 , where he finished 62nd in the sprint and 69th place in Davos Reached 15 km freestyle. Käser achieved his first World Cup points in December 2014 with rank 27 in the first sprint in Davos. Afterwards he also started in the Tour de Ski 2015 , in which on the sprint stage in Val Müstair he was able to place again in the points with 27th place; However, he did not finish the stage race. In February 2015 he reached the podium in the Alpine Cup for the first time with third place in the sprint in Campra . At the Swiss Championships 2016 in Zweisimmen he won the relay team and at the Swiss Championships 2017 in Val Müstair together with Ueli Schnider in the team sprint. In February 2018, he finished 50th in the sprint at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . The following month he was Swiss champion with the relay and second in the sprint. At the end of February 2019 he won the Gommerlauf . At the Swiss Championships 2019 in Engelberg , he won the bronze medal in the pursuit and the gold medal in the sprint and together with Ueli Schnider in the team sprint.
