Erwin Bugert

Erwin Bugert (born September 13, 1920 in Viernheim ; † November 1, 1999 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Erwin Bugert did an autodidactic degree in structural engineering and then took his master craftsman's examination in bricklaying at night school.

politics

Erwin Bugert joined the SPD in 1946. Since 1948 he was a member of the Viernheim city council. Later he was a member of the magistrate and first alderman. In 1975 he was elected mayor of Viernheim. He held this office until 1981. He had also been a member of the Bergstrasse district council since 1956, where he had been chairman of the SPD parliamentary group since 1960.

Erwin Bugert was a member of the state parliament from December 1, 1954 to November 30, 1970 for four electoral terms. From 1967 to 1970 he was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group.

Erwin Bugert was a member of the Federal Assembly in 1959 and 1969 .
