Erwin Kremer (June 1937 - September 27, 2006 ) was a German racing driver. He was involved in the Le Mans 24-hour race for 30 years, first as a driver, then in the team , and won it as a designer in 1979.

Life

Erwin Kremer founded the motorsport team Kremer Racing at the beginning of 1962 with his brother Manfred Kremer . You drove converted Porsches in Le Mans for 30 years.

Kremer won the European Touring Car Championship in 1968 and the Porsche Cup in 1971 . In the 1000 km race in Zeltweg , he landed once on 9th and once on 13th place .

In the 1970 Le Mans 24-hour race , he finished seventh. In 1979, he won it as a designer.
