Erwin Lohrengel
Erwin Lohrengel (born September 18, 1908 in Berlin ; † October 24, 1959 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Erwin Lohrengel attended a reform high school and did a commercial apprenticeship. He became an employee and joined the SPD in 1925 and the union in 1927. In 1940 he was in the Wehrmacht confiscated and fell into French captivity .
After the Second World War Lohrengel became the driver of a bread factory and from 1951 district secretary of the SPD Tempelhof. In the Berlin election in 1950 he was elected to the district assembly in the Tempelhof district. In the 1958 election Lohrengel was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, but died ten months later. His successor in Parliament was then Willy Schlawe (1902-1989).
