Erwin Mohr
Erwin Mohr (born June 25, 1947 in Wolfurt ) is an Austrian politician , author and lecturer. He is a member of the Austrian People's Party .
Life
Erwin Mohr was born as the son of Siegfried Mohr and Elisabeth Mohr. Klocker was born. He is married to Albine Mohr geb. DeGaspari. There are three sons from the marriage.
Erwin Mohr is a committed and passionate local politician and European and is involved in many functions for a united Europe.
School education and job
Erwin Mohr attended the local elementary school, the secondary school and then the commercial school in Bregenz and worked for Generali insurance in the office and in the field for 22 years.
Political activity
Erwin Mohr began his political activity when he was elected mayor of the market town of Wolfurt in 1985 and was in this position until May 20, 2009. From 1997 to 2011 he was Vice President of the Vorarlberg Municipal Association and also from 1997 a delegate to the federal board and from 2008 to 2015 in Presidium of the Austrian Association of Municipalities (seat in Vienna). He also took on the role of spokesman for the Hofsteig / Rheindeltagemeinden region .
From 2008 to 2015 he was a member of the Presidium of the Committee of the Regions and from 2010 to 2012 Vice-President of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) ( Paris / Brussels ). He was also a member of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (CLRAE) in Strasbourg , where he held the vice-presidency from 2010 to 2012.
From 2005 to 2015 Erwin Mohr was Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Benevit Pflegeegesellschaft mbH ( Dornbirn ).
Further and voluntary work
From 1997 to 2003 Erwin Mohr was a member of the Vorarlberg Nature Conservation Council , he was also a member of the board of trustees of the Vorarlberg rescue fund and on the supervisory board of the Vorarlberg power plants . Erwin Mohr has been chairman of the senior citizens 'association in Wolfurt and a member of the executive committee of the Vorarlberg senior citizens' association since 2013 . Since 2013 he has also been a member of the International Senior Citizens Platform Lake Constance (Vaduz) and, after rotating according to schedule, was its president for three years and vice-president for three years.
