Erwin Rehn
Erwin Rehn (born February 23, 1927 in Heide ; † May 23, 2000 in Lehe bei Lunden ) was a German author and resistance fighter .
Life
Rehn was dishonorably released in 1943 for conspiracy with foreigners (conversations with Dutch and Danish forced laborers ) and the creation and distribution of leaflets from the ranks of the Hitler Youth and arrested by the Gestapo at the age of 16 . He was imprisoned in the Moringen youth concentration camp until the end of World War II .
These discussions were assessed as treason in a compensation procedure before the district court in Kiel .
In 1970 Rehn emigrated to Israel with his wife and child , and in 1973 he continued to flee to Crete . Because of liver damage caused by long-term tuberculosis drug use , the family in Stuttgart submitted a lengthy procedure to "aggravate the disease".
In 1984 Rehn left Germany again and moved to Strasbourg .
His daughter Marie-Elisabeth Rehn described her father's life in “Heider Gottsleider”. In it she states that the two-year imprisonment was the all-dominating, central experience in the father's life.
Commemoration
