Erythronium pusaterii is a plant from the genus of erythronium ( erythronium ) in the family of Liliaceae (Liliaceae).

features

The onions are 40 to 60 millimeters in size and more or less egg-shaped. The leaves are 10 to 35 centimeters long. The leaf blade is lanceolate and green. The leaf margin is more or less wavy. The shaft is 12 to 40 centimeters long. The inflorescence is one to eight flowers . The petals are 25 to 45 millimeters in size and lanceolate. They are colored white, the lower half to two thirds are light yellow. Over time, they will turn pale pink. They are eyed at their base. The stamens are 8 to 15 millimeters in size. The stamens are slender and whitish, the anthers are yellow. The stylus are 7 to 10 millimeters in size and also whitish. The scar is more or less unlobed or has lobes that are less than 1 millimeter long. The capsules are 2 to 4 centimeters long and obovate.

The flowering time is in late spring from April to May.

Occurrence

Erythronium pusaterii is only known from California from Tulare County in the southern Sierra Nevada . The species grows in meadows, open forests and on scree slopes at altitudes of 2100 to 2500 meters.
