Esala Masi (born March 9, 1974 in Ba , Fiji ; full name Esala Masinisau ) is a Fijian football player who can be used as a midfielder or as a striker . Most recently he played at Altona Magic in the Victorian Premier League in Australia.

Masi began his career at the Fiji Sugar Corporation (Ba FSC) association in Ba Province, now Ba FC . He is seen as Fiji's all-time best footballer, having been a professional in Australia for ten years. His cousin, Manoa Masi also played in Australia and for the Fijian selection team . Masi made his debut against New Zealand in 1997 . Since then he has completed more than 35 international matches, in which he scored 23 goals, making him a record player and goalscorer. He was also the captain of the team.

The Fiji Football Association named him in 1993 as the best young footballer and in 2000 as their "Player of the Year".
