The Escamat is a river in France that runs in the Landes department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Taringat in the north-western municipality of Labrit , generally drains in a westerly direction through the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park and flows into the Eyre as a right tributary after around 20 kilometers in the northwestern municipality of Sabers .
