Sabers Town Hall

Sabers ( Occitan : identical) is a French municipality with 1174 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Sabers belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton of Sabers ).

geography

Sabers is located about 34 kilometers northwest of Mont-de-Marsan and about 45 kilometers east of the Atlantic coast on the Escamat river , a tributary of the Eyre . Sabers is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Commensacq in the north and northwest, Trensacq in the north, Luxey in the northeast, Labrit in the east, Vert in the southeast, Luglon and Arengosse in the south, Morcenx-la-Nouvelle in the southwest and Solférino in the west.
