Sore ( Occitan : Sora ) is a French municipality with 1,122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton of Sore ).
geography
Sore is located about 50 kilometers north-northwest of Mont-de-Marsan and about 60 kilometers south of Bordeaux on the Petite Leyre in the Armagnac region . Sore is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Argelouse in the north and north-west, Saint-Symphorien in the north, Bourideys in the north-east, Callen in the east, Luxey in the east and south-east, Trensacq in the south and south-west, Pissos in the west and Belhade in the north-west.
