The apse and nave of the Church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary date from the Romanesque . The semicircular apse has been raised to secure it. Its upper part made of quarry stone and bricks shows a parapet walk and loopholes . The original apse already had the sculpted consoles under the cornice , which is embellished as a scroll frieze. A small sacristy is added to the middle of the apse. On the north and south sides, two former window openings are partially walled up with bricks. The two aisles were added in 1855. They are equipped with arched windows on their sides and in turn close in semicircular apses with oculi . In the west, an anteroom added in 1869 extends the entire width of the building. It is illuminated by twin arcades in the form of horseshoe arches supported by columns with sculpted capitals . In the middle rises the bell tower with round arched windows and a polygonal helmet covered with slate . At the base of the helmet at each corner of the tower there are pyramid-shaped roof turrets , which are also covered with slate. At the foot of the bell tower, a horseshoe-shaped entrance portal allows access to the anteroom and thus to the church.
