Luxey ( Occitan : Lucsèir ) is a French municipality with 664 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton of Sore ).

geography

Luxey is located about 50 kilometers north-northwest of Mont-de-Marsan and about 60 kilometers south of Bordeaux on the Petite Leyre , which rises here, in the Armagnac region . Luxey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sore in the north and northwest, Callen in the north and east, Lecouacq in the southeast, Le Sen and Labrit in the south, Sabers in the southwest and Trensacq in the west.
