Villeneuve-de-Marsan ( Occitan : Vilanava de Marsan ) is a French municipality with 2413 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Villeneuve-de-Marsan belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and the canton of Adour Armagnac . The inhabitants are called Villeneuvois (es) .
geography
Villeneuve-de-Marsan is located about 15 kilometers east of Mont-de-Marsan on the Midou River . Villeneuve-de-Marsan is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lacquy in the north and northeast, Le Frêche in the east and northeast, Arthez-d'Armagnac in the east, Perquie in the southeast, Pujo-le-Plan in the south and southwest, Saint-Cricq-Villeneuve to the west and Sainte-Foy to the northwest.
The former National Route 134 runs through the municipality .
