Losse ( Occitan : Lossa ) is a French municipality with 275 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton Gabarret ).

Losse is located about 40 kilometers east-northeast of Mont-de-Marsan in the Armagnac region . The Estampon flows through the municipality . Losse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Maillas in the north and northwest, Allons in the north and northeast, Lubbon in the east, Rimbez-et-Baudiets in the southeast, Herré in the south and southeast, Estigarde in the south, vielle-Soubiran in the southwest, and Saint-Gor in the West and south-west and Bourriot-Bergonce in the west and north-west. Route nationale 524 runs through the municipality as part of the Itinéraire à Grand Gabarit .
