Trensacq ( Occitan : Trensac ) is a French municipality with 245 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2015: Aquitaine ). Trensacq belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton of Sabers ). The inhabitants are called Trensacais .
geography
Trensacq is located about 58 kilometers north-northwest of Mont-de-Marsan and about 31 kilometers east of the Atlantic coast. Trensacq is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pissos in the north and northwest, Sore in the northeast, Luxey in the east, Sabers in the south and Commensacq in the west.
