Callen ( Occitan : Calen ) is a French municipality with 144 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton of Sore ).

geography

Callen is located about 50 kilometers north-northwest of Mont-de-Marsan and about 60 kilometers south of Bordeaux on the Petite Leyre , which borders the municipality in the south-west, in the Armagnac region . Callen is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bourideys in the north, Cazalis in the north and northeast, Lucmau in the east and northeast, Luxey in the south and southwest and Sore in the west.
